Nijifans know who all these people are, they just choose not to watch them unless it a special or important stream.
A lot of Nijifans only watch and sub to a handful of livers, but will tune in to big company events if there are enough bodies/one body they care about.
Anycolor realized this and have found more success in bundling up a bunch of low CCV livers together into a show/special stream and getting more viewers for that than all the participants would've gotten on their own.
Ofc you could say these shows could be hosted on the liver's own channel, but hosting them on the main channel makes them feel like a bigger deal.
On the other hand, Cover doesn't host nearly as many of these company event streams and when they do, it's not as big of a boost since Holo talents usually get good daily numbers already and collab often.
