I like watchalongs in general, but it really depends on the girl. Some of them time their comments well in quiet/unimportant parts then shut up when shit is happening, which is great. On the other hand, the recent Mumei one is an example of doing it badly, it was her first so she was nervous and felt like she had to entertain chat. She ended up talking over the whole thing and not understanding wtf was going on most of the time.

It depends on the person and whether or not they've seen the movie already.
On certain movies that I am really interested in I make sure to watch alone first, then the watchalong. For stuff like Adam Sandler movies I set my expectations and just chill with Mori while talking shit about a movie that doesn't take itself seriously in the first place. It's comfy
