Might just be because she's hanging out with them more sure, but I also think she feels weird having "her elders" call her senpai and asked them to be more familiar. One of the reasons Haato so embraced Haachama I think was because it was awkward having people sometimes double her age calling her senpai. Nobody says "Haachama-senpai", it's always plain Haachama without any honorifics unlike with Haato.
Japs are weird about seniority and age (which is seen as seniority by default), and having a younger person in the most senior position fucks around with all their social conventions because it has never been the norm in their societal dynamics.
