>>12216922Not really, from the start of 2020 everyone was saying YT could overpower the streaming market if they wanted to and in turn were criticizing a lot of the biased things Twitch were doing, but if your audience "looks" to be on Twitch and no one else is leaving, you don't feel like being the first to take that risk.
After Rae, Corpse, vtubers and even Pewdipie's Q4 2020 success, some were considering the move, but wanted some more features... then boom, metrics dropped for YT and outside of the vtuber community very few people apparently know it's because of YT itself. They just think it's because the Among Us craze ended... overnight, on December 13th.
