>>12282254OK so basically learning to be a professional dancer for the music industry is not easy.
Backup dancers start training generally before their teens. Agents prowl for suitable kids among poor communities. Its an easy sell to them.
Baes family are low income immigrants who saw it as a way to get their kid a better future.
It's gruelling and has a lot in common with the kpop training schools. Just less intense and more drawn out.
You get passed through a few trainers until you hit your final trainer/agent who will be the one getting you work going forward.
They basically own your right to work at that point so if they don't put you forward for anything it's all for nothing.
So sequel abuse is very common.
Bae was "lucky" and got in with a well respected and successful agent.
Bae had a friend who had been with her all the way who also got "lucky"
Their future was assured it seemed. Money and potentially fame since this can be a route to getting your own singing career going. And if not its pretty likely you'll also be doing modelling work which gives you the sugar daddy option.
Buuuut the agent was scum and basically only let you work if you fucked him.
Bae fucked him. Bae didn't want her friend to suffer so cut a deal with him. She'd let him fuck her and go the extra mile with it, if he left her friend alone.
So Bae fucked the guy, went on trips with him, did a lot of awful stuff with him, etc.
Then Bae found out her friend had made the same deal with the agent.
So what did our future rat do?
She went on another overnight trip with the agent to his holiday home, fucked him, tied him to the bed, set the house on fire and then turned herself into the police.
Initially the media were all over it because dam good story amirite?
But agent was related to a certain individual who was up for reelection so the media buried it after their initial frenzy.
He was also still well known and connected in the industry so Bae basically burned her bridges there, she was radioactive and nobody wanted anything to do with her.
The friend she tried to protect from the agent? Turned on her and denounced her, all so she could get work.
So Bae went into the courtroom basically alone aside from her family.
She had no friends, no allies and no money. But despite it all the case basically got rushed to a "nothing is gonna happen in order to avoid a fuss" conclusion because of agents father.
So she walked away from it free and technically without a criminal history.
But with no future prospects, no career plans, limited skills, no friends, a lot of enemies and basically nothing to her name.
