It's not just blocking and stuff, but also member only streams, which as an incentive make sense, but which leave a chunk of the audience behind. Furthermore there are a lot Vtubers who act like members are a more personal circle and they can be more "themselves" in front of them, which honestly makes no sense. 5 bucks a months dont make you closer to the Vtuber and there is no reason to think they are nicer than others. It's not any less public and available in the end, so changing your attitude there wont help.
