Have to ask, do people really use the recommendation system? I've used YouTube for 10+ years and primarily discovered content either by word of mouth (friends, forums, etc.) or if a channel I'm subscribed to put out a video that featured/collabed with another channel. Didn't think people actually spent time clicking through videos in the sidebar / home page to find new content.
