>>12353874>hololive EN fans are not emotionally mature enough to handle a male voice appearing on their oshi's stream.I think fans would be okay with it, if it was handled right. The love normie fans have for Yagoo (so much that /vt/ mostly thinks it's too cringe) shows that they're not totally against muh males in general (no one besides some shitstirring schizos actually seriously believes "hurrdurr he's fucking my oshi!", and most people just think of him as a well-meaning, nice and somewhat goofy dude).
The problem is rather - Omega is just not a likeable character. He seems self-important, what with all the lore shit and him having no other public contributions besides sassy bitch tweets, and he hasn't given much reasons that'd endear him to anyone.
If he could actually point to specific things, like "hey, that personal project of your oshi, that you liked, well here's what I actually did to help make that happen", that'd do much good. But all he does is either just appeal to some general sense of "Hey, it was ME who started EN, so if you like them, you have to love ME also!" (and that's not how any of this works), or swoop in after an EN-project that the girls produced themselves and claim credit with some self-congratulating tweets.
Or he could be more well-liked if he actually accepted his role as a designated "punching bag" kinda character (like a lightning rod for all misgivings people have about management/corporate), but he seems way too up his own ass about it and actually wants to be "taken seriously". That Ame's harmless "Omegadeeznutz" tweet was taken down after 10 minutes kinda tells a lot about what kind of person he is.
