Welcome to VShojo+! A thread to discuss VShojo, and any vtubers frequently associated with them.
It's November 1st and the Halloween that never ends did just that. Beginning with Vei in August and the discovery of Luxury Dark, continuing through September with a "Did you see it?" marathon, and culminating in an excellent Halloween party last night. VR Chat group streams have consistently been one of the best sources of content the group produces, and that was on full fuckin' display last night. Things began in a world converted from Ocarina of Time's forest temple into a spooky night club where introductions were made and we got to see Vei's new VRC model. It includes a whip that she used to great effect, and we also got to see the other attendees as they made their way in. As a first it was not just VShojo + Snuffy, but also Yoolie, Roen, Shinect, Techy, Yocci, and most importantly, Haruka in her new 3D model! While there were a lot of great things happening during this portion of the stream, one that was noticed immediately was how little of the deer's normal confidence and exuberance was on display. Maybe it was the sensation of being surrounded by friends in VR rather than seeing them through a monitor that made things a little too real, but it didn't take her too long to adjust, robbing the world of a bashful deer only an hour after she appeared.
The night proceeded with more planned things, a big highlight being a few VRC recreations of Squid Game events. If you've ever wanted to see Izuku Midoriya get gunned down for twerking, well you got that. If you wanted to see a demon straight out of a creepypasta stand idly by as her friends repeatedly ate shit from an extreme height, you got that as well. And if you wanted to see actual terror from the group then a recreation of PT provided that in spades. It was another great VRC group collab that, if missed live, should definitely be checked out. Mouse was the only one streaming it so it's an easy one to watch, but that also means there was so much more that happened that we didn't really get to see! People split up into groups, had secondary conversations, and if anything about the stream could be considered bad it would be the lone available perspective to see it all through.
Anyway, now that Halloween's done and over with it's time for Christmas. And schedules. If you see one, make sure to post it. In the meantime, keep things comfy in the thread by ignoring bait, and being excellent to each other.
