I mean, it can go both ways, the problem is that you don't know what is going to stick and what is not, so if I have to work for 5 hours to commit into doing a 20min summary video that I'm not sure if it's going to be a hit or not, or I can take 40 minutes doing a sub 2 minute clip and try many different things on the same span of 5 hours of course I would rather go with the second option.
and sometimes is not even about the money, I don't make much, sometimes it just hurts that my botw 25minute summary has 1.5k views, but my "kiara said what?!" has 10k.

Some of the JP channels and even some Korean ones are pretty entertaining. A lot of EN clippers just produce lazy 50 sec clips.
