Every cat I've ever had is way more needy compared to my dog. I take my dog out to play in the afternoon and walks in the morning and at night. Otherwise, she happily (and quietly) curls up on the floor nearby me most of the day. And I have a husky of all things.
But cats? Those fuckers want constant attention and meow all the time.
