Maybe. How does Youtube count the live viewer numbers again? If you can watch simultaneously and both of your views will be counted as a live viewer to the streams then it should be the main POV only. Otherwise it's cope.

The VODs from the Sports Fes are also gaining views quickly as well, surpassing 600k each already. I wonder if the will bring some attention to Hololive. I know the clipping side is already working overtime to capture notable moments. The Sports Fes will just help Hololive dominate algo ever more. Nobody can even come close.

Hololive is big enough now that avoiding overlap with new outfits, 3D events, concerts, and now Holo produced content (summer festival, anniversary, Halloween, sports fes) is a bigger problem than filling the calendar. Clippers are being fed a steady diet of material constantly, it’s getting very, very hard for anyone else to get in. Niji had a head start in JP so they are still able to compete even if Holo has the most clips but in EN sphere it’s like 10:1. Even if one clip goes viral and gets a million views the sheer volume means there will one, and usually 3-4 other Holo clips burying it.

It really depends, if it's a jp only event it's usually scheduled late afternoon/evening jp time which is more or less around 12pm, it's very watchable especially if it's on the weekend. HoloEN collabs are absolutely no-go zone for Europoors however, we get completely ignored (understandably so, NA is more relevant and more importantly brings in far more money)

Oh yes, likely adblocked and Multi-tab both get added to view counts but not CCV. Fits what we've seen, even with higher viewer churn some of this is nonsense. (Iirc Asmongold stated that a 100k CCV stream over ten hours ok Twitch should end up with about 1mil views at the end of the stream, though I'm certain different demographics have different turnover rates)

Editing a video is underestimated and harder than most people think.
Sometimes I cut some webms for this board. Picking the exact size, moment, entry point and exit point makes a 10 seconds clip to take some 4 mins to get it right, and that's for the cutting alone, not including the translating and captioning part that goes with clipping
