I feel like that plays away from the strengths of being a vtuber. It's much better to have a proper camera focusing on you and what you are doing if you are building something.

Just have a camera pointed at their hands. You odn't need to see more for that kinda content. Covered with gloves seems fine since other Holos showed real footage of them unpacking stuff on stream.

I personally hate when virtual youtubers show the physical world. The whole point is that they have no physical form and solely exist in virtual reality. Interacting with the real world is probably still fine. For example I would expect someone from VR to be able to send instructions to a CNC machine or 3D printer. The issue that a virtual youtuber can't interact with these now physical objects that have been created. They need some sort of assistant in the real world to help.
