>>12804927>produced by managementI want "management" (Jenma you're cool, don't come to Cover HQ tomorrow) to stay as far away as possible from any further Myth songs after the shitshow that was Cunty Rods. What should have been an easy slam dunk and a celebration for the whole group that they could all look back on fondly, turned into an undercooked overproduced abortion that every talent just wants to forget at best.
The difference with Myth or Treat is staggering. I don't even like the song particularly (my main complaint is that it is too short and so feels more like a disparate mashup), but it's leagues above the first "corporate produced" song they put out. Most importantly, all the talents seem to be happy, everyone liked the production, had their input and standout parts, and personal connections to the song. The MV was also done by someone who is clearly a fan of Myth and not just some out-of-touch japanese office drone. And the whole song got done relatively quickly, especially compared to CR which took months and didn't allow for retakes apparently.
No, let the talents control their stuff, and let Cover meddling stay out of it. The ONLY thing they can maybe do to "help" is to just pitch in with some funds to support. But apparently even that is a murky area, because of course then they'd just want even more rights and profits from it, so just fuck'em generally.
