Nobody who's not retarded would be angry that she speaks Cantonese. But every hololive fan has a reason to be angry that she's debuffing herself by using a shitty voice and hiding the full extent of how cultured she is. Maybe chinks would throw a shit fit, but I wouldn't mind if she talked about unique Malaysian and Cantonese cultural trappings while speaking in her true second (or first?) language.
This is akshually the same complaint that can be leveled against Ina for underutilizing her Korean. In contrast, Kiara and Kronii don't keep their linguistic locked in a cuckshed, and wind up coming off as more interesting characters because of it. Personally, I think tossing in a bit of non-English vocabulary that can be used as memes and loanwords is a good way for a chuba to differentiate themselves, providing they have the self awareness and understanding of online culture to pull it off. That is what nips have been doing the entire time, using Japanese lingo that western audiences to adopt while enjoying gratuitous English that they themselves throw around for emphasis.
