It makes me wonder how big of a deal it would be of Kuzuha retired. I used to think that Nijisanjis fanbase being compartmentalized would be a plus because no single liver graduation could do a sizable damage to the whole. But now I'm starting to have my doubts. Kuzuha basically hard carries Nijisanji. Ib and Touya, strong as they are, can only pull high numbers with the right condition's. Hololive on the other hand have multiple heavy hitters. The fact that Ayame and Marine who is 1b to Pekora's 1a didn't stream for a month and Hololive still beat them handily for October is such a massive flex on how strong their roster is.

It'd basically hamstring Nijisanji pretty badly. Right now, Kuzuha completely towers over everyone else in Niji. Losing him would be like losing say....Gura in HoloEN. Can't really come up with something comparable in HoloJP because losing one member doesn't shift the numbers (just numbers) around too much thanks to how many Holomem can pull great numbers on a monthly basis.
It'd pretty much signal a Great Decline for Nijisanji depending on the circumstances of graduation

The issues probably start with the Meiro-Roa incident, then Gibara's graduation and then Lulu's graduation really capping off Nijianji's female livers being really handicapped in their overall numbers. Then you also have to consider that for the females of Niji, their main competitors are Hololive, where as the male livers do not have that level of competition to contend with. NONE of the females on Nijisanji average numbers that are better than 15k, whereas in a given month multiple Holomem can clear that nowadays with minimal issue.
Hence, from a numbers perspective at least, Manjisansji.

They've thrown way too much money and investment into this to not drag it out past launch. Hell, they literally hired on Horiguchi as animation director for this whole thing along with throwing money at a bunch of other big names to throw as much into external media as possible.

Which, I think we all know just throwing money at big names who only look at it as a paycheck is never some surefire recipe for success, but it shows that Sony's going to force this thing forward whether it has any natural traction or not.
