yet according to my profile history i've been following her since the same time as another channel that has since gone dark. it was a white girl living in japan who used to stream in cosplay and spoke the language, and the voice is similar
however, the old channel still has its own inactive twitch so i'm not sure what could have happened here, like does twitch allow channels to copy their history to another url when they change names?
