most people often ask the question, "Why are so many vtubers canadian?" and that itself is difficult to answer. But when you flip the question to "Why aren't more Americans vtubers?" then it's much easier to answer.
The USA is difficult to just be a human. Everyone discourages you, cynicism is through the roof, no trust or love in each other, and just greed and at each others throats. It's a toxic culture. There's a sense of "normalcy reinforcing" where americans subtly shame each other when they don't act exactly like the culture in hollywood TV series. This inner-bullying that americans do to one another leaves very little room to be different and try new things and be accepted. You'll never get the support you need to prevail.
If you don't immediately know what I'm talking about, then I'll give you a cliche and you'll instantly "get it"....
Imagine, in the USA, a 16 year old boy tells his parents, teachers, etc that he wants to "be a great artist one day" and that's how he wants to make his money and spend his life. What would they say?
>LOL YOU BETTER HAVE A "PLAN B" JUST IN CASE LMAOO
