People found IRyS immediately and shared her name and server, if her fans felt like causing trouble like Pekora's then they could have easily done so. The only thing that actually helped IRyS was blocking tells and invites with /busy, and even that wouldn't have helped if they wanted to block everything with their mounts.
Don't know whether IRyS's fans are just better or the bans scared them into behaving, though.
