3D tracking setup is extremely expensive. Doubt cover is willing to make such investment for a low tier branch like ID.

not really, no. only specific visa categories are even being allowed, and it would be a huge bureaucratic pain the ass to sponsor a long-term visa just for a month of training and then a one-hour 3D debut. it would be smarter, cheaper, and thus more likely that they're waiting for japan to open up 3-month tourist visas (or the other rando short-term categories) again

Indonesia has the ability to produce their own motion tracking studio, the problem lies with the character licensing and Cover Corp legal stuff. They can't just do 3D without the supervision of the bigshot from Cover. Indonesia is not a shithole you like what everyone is telling you, Indonesia had advanced alot these past few years.
