Why doesn't she sing more often? Her voice is too good to waste. And when she does sing, it's almost always scuffed somehow.

Because she's running out of songs to sing. Most of viewers are either weebs or boomers that like the stuff you hear on the radio or from an anime. Anything else that's either too niche or obscure and she'll lose the audience. Besides, she got to this point because she's a weeb.

Seems like she prefers to do chill or acoustic versions of songs and then doesn't practice those versions, leading to scuffed streams. All her best singing comes when she uses an official or very good instrumental track for a song she knows well.

Do those singers also stream and speak for an audience 3-8 hours every day? Singers only sing for a day or two and then rest. Even Suisei doesn't sing as much because she knows there's no way she'll be able to maintain her singing career if she sang more frequently while also streaming.

Using your regular speaking voice even for long periods of times doesn't harm your voice.
Suisei doesn't sing often to create false scarcity. She was damaging her voice when she used her fake high pitched voice for years, that's why she stopped.

Yeah but a concert is still just one day. It's different from the stress of using your voice 5 days a week to entertain an audience, and then singing for an hour or 2 every few weeks. That's like comparing the stress of bending your phone with your 2 hands for a few seconds to the daily stress it receives by being inside your back pocket every day.

yes but still, you can't really damage your voice by talking, unless you intentionally or unintentionally try to damage it by not drinking water or speak in an unnatural way for a long time.

There is a period where people who are not used to speaking a lot will have weaker voices until they build up the strength of their voice to last long. The voice is a muscle after all. It needs training like everything else.

She's doing less karaokes because her schedule is packed with things to do. She used to sing 2-4 times a month

For a while she was putting in a lot of effort to practice singing and was getting really good. She talked several times about different things she was doing to improve her technique and so on. All of that stopped abruptly after she started posting official covers and songs. Probably this is because she found out that for Hololive you don't need to be able to sing well and it's just wasted effort. Her singing is just fine for someone who makes hypercompressed autotune pop and she doesn't need to try any harder.
