This exact same thing happens in JP. In fact, JPnikis kept posting the roommate name of a vtuber I watch, in the comments of his clips, his VTUBER clips mind you. I haven't seen it in a while but in the first month it was happening.
So don't think JP bros are all angels either they can display the same retarded behavior EN bros do. You think this site is bad for rratposting, just wait until you find out about JP sites where every single movement of a vtuber is scrutinized and twisted into a negative thing. Late to stream? I said EN community not to imply the JP community was better. The JP community has it's own problems. and retards. Just I can speak definitively on the EN community as someone who lives in America, attended anime conventions, has several weeb friends and hung out in online weeb communities. I've only hung out in the general Hololive JP community so I can't make confident generalizations for the general JP community. Not trying to make a comparison about EN. Just I couldn't talk confidently about JP generally so I limited my scope of who I was talking about. I've seen plenty of retards and children and weirdos in differing parts of the JP community (fucking retarded JP dumbasses who retweet the roommate's twitter account on their fan account with the person's oshi mark attached make me furious) but I'm not an expert and didn't want to make a generalization.

My oshi's roommate cover songs have been getting more and more comments in Chinese and English since late 2020, and it's downright retarded how they shamelessly do it with obvious profile pictures and the accounts they use to comment when he's streaming as a chuuba.
