You follow who you like, and if you happen to really enjoy the group's atmosphere, you'll tune into group collabs and events and familiarize yourself to more of the company. It's more meaningful that way. "Those two had a Mario Kart rivalry", "this group waged war in Ark", "oh, these people are connected through this person" is easier to remember than seeing the group as a whole. This entire vtuber thing is all for entertainment anyway. I know this is a bait thread but for people who genuinely stress about how many people there are in Nijisanji (a common thing that people say wards them away from checking them out), don't force yourself and just enjoy what you like. Recognizing the livers comes on its own.
