Pekora isn't as reliant on Miko as she was in the past. She's changed, broadened her horizons, gotten more fit, dressing more fashionably and made a lot of friends outside of Miko and she does things with them regularly.
That and just because Suisei and Miko have developed a bond of their own that is still growing stronger doesn't mean it negates Pekora and Miko's bond. Miko showed this during both the toriningen practice and during the actual sports fes that their bond is still there and as strong as ever, and however much her bond with Suisei strengthens won't change that. You can have bonds of deep trust and reliance with more than one person.
