>>13204566It's one of Nijisanji's issues wrt numbers.
An unfortunate thing too to consider, is that numbers beget numbers, casuals like to just follow the 'hottest thing's, and it's clear that Niji isn't the biggest game in town anymore. That makes it even harder for them to cultivate new breakout stars, and none of their international branches have had the major success to catapult them into the eyes of the international viewers.
I'm gonna borrow some points from the schizos and point to Gura's subcount and popularity. I'd you were some casual and you heard this agency has the most subbed vtuber in it, what would you think? Would you, perhaps, take a look to see what's all the fuss about even if you're Japanese? What's this? There's 30+ Japanese chubbas from the same company? Oops, you're now a Hololive watcher and have your recommends swamped with Gura clips and meme clips and songs and oops now you're watching Marine every time she streams.
Outside of their summer baseball, Nijisanji has no casual viewer funnel. It's bad for long-term prospects, because any causla viewers that are new just end up being sucked away by Hololive.
