Chat being on screen just gives attention seekers a reason to act up.
Overlays, and borders are either pointless or obnoxious. (Only exception being if facecam or model are getting in the way.)
Dropping everything to read donations just brings everything to a grinding halt.
I really don't understand why that stuff has become the standard for streamers. That stuff just drags down the stream if you ask me.
