As much whining is going on in /vp/, the games aren't really doing anything wrong with the Pokémon formula. It's just Diamond and Pearl except there are Fairy types and a few moves that were introduced in later games. Everything else is just autistic "I need my children's game to be hard" crap.

I mean, that's pretty obvious the difficulty is not the same being 10 yo than 25 yo (Majority of Pokemon players rn). If anything they should do like B/W when you had the hard mode if you want after completing the game

E4 is actually kinda jacked this game. The fucked level curve of DP means even with fighting a lot you aren't over levelling the level 66 garchomp without some grinding.

Cover doesn't have to beg for permissions from Nintendo - it's the Pokemon company specifically who is nototiously stingy about streaming permission to Cover.
They are having a Pokemon Tournament collab on Nico Nico this time as well (which is how they used to get limited time permissions), but considering that permissions went to the Stars and EN as well, it seems the Pokemon Company is way more lenient about streaming for the remake and Cover managed to get permissions for everyone not just because of the sponsored tourney.
