>Mori Calliope - Thanatotherestes. The name literally mean “Reaper of Death” and Calli is a grim reaper, as many already know. I also considered Therizinosaurus because it’s the “Scythe lizard”, but I wanted Calli to be a predator.
>Takanashi Kiara - Gallimimus. The name means “Chicken mimic”, and despite what she claims, everybody knows Kiara’s a chicken. I know that birds are dinosaurs and that I literally could have just drawn a bird, but as cool as birds are, it would have been pretty lame to see everyone drawn as cool dinosaurs, but Kiara, Reine, Subaru, and Mei were just regular birds.
>Ninomae Ina’nis - Einiosaurus. There was a lot of thought put into this one. I went with Einiosaurus because 1) It had two parietal frill spikes that I could make look like Ina’s flaps, and it even had a curved horn that I made look like a crowbar, 2) the name was something that I could make an Ina pun out of, even if it’s kinda shoehorning it in, and most of all 3) I just feel like Ina could be a ceratopsian for some reason.
>Gawr Gura - Concavenator. I chose Concavenator mainly because it had a “shark fin” sail or hump. It’s also a carcharodontid which means “Shark toothed lizard.”
>Watson Amelia - Homalocephale. I wanted a gremlin dinosaur, and this one seemed to fit.
>IRyS - Hylaeosaurus. Hylaeosaurus was one of the three dinosaurs from the Crystal Palace (a reference to IRyS’s crystals). I felt that an ankylosaur of some kind would be appropriate because I could make all of the spikes and osteoderms look like the horns and crystals on IRyS.
>Ceres Fauna - Miragaia. The name means “Great mother goddess” which is ideal for Mother Nature.
>Ouro Kronii - Eotriceratops. The name means “Dawn three horned face” with “dawn” being a sort of reference to time. The horn and frill will be made to look like the hands and face of Kronii’s heliclockter.
>Nanashi Mumei - Mei long. Mei is a small and cute troodontid that I think matches her very well (also, Meimei as Mei? Too good to pass up).
>Hakos Baelz - Leaellynasaura. Leaellynasaura, while not a sharp-toothed theropod, is a small, Australian dinosaur with a really long tail that I could make look like a rat tail.
>OmegaAlpha (?) - Herrerasaurus. Because it’s one of the oldest known dinosaurs and Omega seems to have been involved with HoloEN since the beginning (judging from the 30 second introduction video).
