Well, she's done "x until x amount of subs" streams before and had 200k as a goal for the end of the year. BUT, she is in the middle of a Splatoon 2 obsession that is so bad she lost 3kg and her mom had to help her put her pants on from how stiff she became and she hit 200k mid-Splatoon-battle

Sub count is integral to Niji's point system. It's unlikely that they wouldn't care about it at all since collab opportunities, new costumes, 3Ds, sponsorships is tied to this system. She must have forgotten about it.

No. They release outfits by gens in batches and it's dependent on the season, notable events, etc. The timing of release is also strategic. Hololive is huge now that basing it on sub count or income generated by the talents don't make sense now.

Don't think it ever mattered for outfits. But the Holos used to need a certain amount of subs to qualify for 3D models a long time ago. I think it was like 50k and then it was increased to 100k with Gen3 and Gen4?
But now everyone gets that instantly.
