>>13333400Usually the /vt/ drama never really takes off anywhere else, there's only a few rare instances where stuff starts here and blows up enough to be addressed directly. Usually it's stuff involving indies or 2view agencies that otherwise get 0 discussion or exposure outside of the 30 people on here who care about them.
The internet is very corporatized these days so you can't just go around spreading rrats without getting banned anyway. There just aren't many places to discuss vtubers outside of Discord and Twitter which are of course self-moderated echo-chambers. Hell if you google discussions about Nijisanji EN, a branch with over 200,000 fans, there's a very high likelihood you'll end up on a /vt/ archive with only 100 IP's because reddit only cares about Hololive and theres literally NOWHERE else to discuss vtubers.
/pol/ is probably another issue, there are actual corporate actors involved in amplifying their made up bullshit onto facebook twitter etc while the opposite is true for /vt/. Companies actively try to suppress rrats about themselves and aren't bad faith enough to try to amplify rumors or scandals about their competition.
