When other vtubers lash off, they often do it to the haters, she did it to everyone that was watching her, which were all people who liked her in the first place. It was a completely retarded thing to say there and then in response to something Mori herself often jokes about and is okay with.
Now, if 1% of the 14k audience gets offended, that's 140 people that will dislike her now. If 1% of the 200k that watched the clip grow to hate her attitude(it kinda IS a shitty attitude to have with the fans that like and support you), now that's a potential 2000 antis. And those were probably people that liked her before, so the feelings are more intense, they feel betrayed and hated by the girl they liked and supported.
I don't think she's literally satan and I think her mind is most of the time on the right place, but the feelings in her heart are often nasty and she has to balance her superiority/inferiority complex with the person she consciously wants to be on screen. She wants to teach art because she likes the idea, but she can't stand newbies and their basic questions and low skill since she's already so much better, she wants to be relaxing yet is constantly busy because to her idle time is wasted time and hobbies that aren't lucrative are a waste of time and effort. She feels worthless when she's doing nothing or resting, what does she feel about all the people watching her while doing nothing?
She unironically needs therapy, she is very capable and accomplished, but the feelings in her heart aren't the right ones and will never be happy with herself or her audience as long as she keeps feeling like that.
