They dislike something on a conceptual level
They dislike the abstract notion of the existence of ASMR, and therefore anything merely associated with it is as negative as the ASMR itself.
ASMR is basically the dark side of the force in that a user is evil just by being a user of the dark side of the force. A sith giving candy to children is evil, because a sith is doing it. A sith saving the homeless is evil, because a sith is doing it. It's an intrinsic quality based upon association
