Watching pekora play pokemon made me realize how boring this game is, they literally been doing the same shit for 25 years, also how is one shotting everything fun? endgame pvp might be fun i guess but none of them is going to do it so what's the point

In the current game all your Pokemon level up at the same time without EXP share and they level fast. Gura could have had a Gyarados before the first gym if she had explored anything

The real faggotry comes in the form of ivs and that nigger of a happiness stat. I was going to do a Cynthia team, which is a monumental amount of fucking breeding cause her shit has perfect ivs.

And let me tell you getting a perfect iv Lucario with a good nature and ability is a feat in all its own, then I had to do it again with that shit bird of hers.

This was on og diamond, i would have killed for that iv or whatever candy sun and moon added, goddamn.

Oh I agree, they just actually required a grind (or to know how to exploit the broken mechanics in the games). Modern games have rivals that don't even really care about beating you but just want to be your friends and purposely choose the type that is weak to your starter, etc. It's just a different kind of easy.
