Nux is a Big Story chasing asshole, but he's not an idiot, at least not as braindead as the Vshoujo statements point him out to be.
Those were some carefully crafted "we did anything by the book" statements.
They probably did a lot better than Nux claims and they just didn't want some rando 3rd party involved, which lead to a lot of miscommunication. Nyanners especially didn't look like she knew much of anything and just had an emotional post that snowballed way too hard.
Anyway, posting the video "to scare off future doxers with the legal consequences" isn't good enough compared to how much harm it did by alerting the "dox unit" or whatever they claim to be and worse of all, this type of shit makes randos curios about roommate info, when they hear it's out there.
