Bae's attempts to add drama, while genuine, were ineffective at best and actually sapped drama at some points.
Mumei no-sold a lot of the scenes - which is her style, but not the style of the game and not what many anons wanted.
One camp of anons like Bae; they will forgive her clumsiness and feel the seriousness was killed by Mumei's quips. Another camp of anons like Mumei; they will feel Bae killed the drama and Mumei's quips salvaged it into a comedy. (It's worth noting that many anons found Bae difficult to tolerate for the preceding hours of the playthrough, and so were predisposed to the Mumei camp).
The third camp of anons did not expect Council to be able to match the kino of Gurame or Takamori, and so they were looking for a different experience. Mumei provided that alternate approach, while Bae tried to play it the same way as the other collabs before. This third camp would be vaguely Mumei-aligned.
There, that's the entire dynamic of "the thread's reaction to, and opinion of, Bae+Mumei AWO.
