Can some autistic /jp/sie who's lurking on /vt/ right now explain to me why do you hate ENs so much? I'm unironically curious. Part of me still believes that its all imageboard kayfabe but disregarding that assumption, why do you hate western vtubers? Is ir because of their fanbase? The chuubas themselves? The "kulchur"? To be fair, i don't mind anyone in Hololive's english speaking branch except for Kiara.

It's just an /hlg/ thing, not even the nijisanji thread cares. I started lurking the /jp/ holo threads in May of last year, but they slowly got worse over time and now it's just a mess. Sucks because I used to have fun there and made OC. I dunno how you can have a superiority complex over /hlgg/ when your thread is 90% stale memes and metaposting but somehow that's how they are.

I don't hate them necessarily. It's mostly that ENVtuber culture has turned into it's own thing, and it's all the same references, inside jokes and rules. The fact most ENVtubers seem completely incurious about what goes on in the japanese side (who're still pioneers in creativity with the format) outside from some clips illustrates this.
Also, the EN fanbase is mostly a horde of redditors, twitterinas and children. I can't look at chat or the comments for any big ENchuuba without wanting to die. Just the most annoying, braindead faggots jerking each other because they pretend to be part of a revolutionary new trend or whatever

I don't even hate ENs, I'm actually fine with vshojo. What I hate is holoEN because of the retarded dipshit fanbase it brought into the vtubing community.
Its either numberfags, retarded unicorns, or people who want "idols" without realizing the basic appeal of what an idol is in the first place.
The biggest irony of liking shit like hololive and constantly calling other people "2 views" is that its the entire opposite of what a fucking idol is supposed to be. Idols are supposed to be approachable and relatable, they're not supposed to be god tier entertainers they're just normal chicks you can watch try to entertain you because they have a dream, and as a normal person yourself you empathize and support that dream.
2 views are the true idol experience.
