>>13755670>that's the best I can get dancing strictly around the "how does it affect their vtubing" pointIf you have to dance around ontopic, you're not posting in the right place. But let's leave metafagging aside.
>taking an action that that person believes may be against their best interestsLet's just presume for the sake of argument that harm may or may not be the more likely to result when complying (because I want to talk about Myth here, not interpret scientific results).
>If this was done within the companyThat's a hypothetical irrelevant to the situation. Cover, like most other companies, isn't coercing anyone to get vaccinated, governments apply rules that for not doing it, there is a set of things you have to or cannot do either. This means that any blame you want to pin on anyone for this situation, you can't blame on Cover or the other girls, it's not their fault that this is the situation.
>This could potentially cause many deaths or graduationsI think this is what your entire posts revolve around: It's the right thing to not do something that could be harmful for you.
One implication of this is that any girl who vaccinates herself or even worse brings it up on-stream, is acting anti-unity by encouraging potentially harmful (w.r.t. talent, company and fan interest) behavior. But at this point it doesn't matter if they're wrong with the stance they are taking, only that they could be wrong by taking any stance at all.
But inaction is just as potentially wrong because all the same negative consequences could result from it, too: Long-term health issues (inactivity due to sickness, as was the case for Iofi), possible death due to complications while sick, moral upset at the corporate or other girl's stances. No single person in Myth is scientifically literate enough to make an informed decision that's not based on group consent on this matter, not because they are dumb but because that's very difficult to do. Long story short: Only if vaccination was demonstrably worse than not vaccinating, the girls would act in their best interest, else everything up to here is in a benevolent interpretation "uncertain". But they don't know if it is so this is not the case.
But there are some certain lucrative, pro-unity outcomes of vaccinating: They get to see their genmates, they get to travel to a country they want to go to, and facilitate some crucial steps of their work while all of them are still active and well, before any of them die or graduate due to anything else which is still much more likely than death or graduation due to anything that has to do with covid or vaccinations.
In short, they have to make decisions based on the few definite benefits they do know. The only way this would be in your personal benefit is if the four others in Myth is acting anti-unity by taking an undue risk, and thus also definitely wrong in the context of vtubing.
Pic not related. I do think you're coming from a place of good intentions but I obviously don't think you are correct.
