The other day I thought to myself, what would life be like without Kiki. I got sad, I felt lonely, I felt empty... Later that day, when I went to bed, I dreamt about Kiki, we were holding hands, arms swaying as we walk along this path underneath a forest of tall trees stained orange by the autumn season. Eventually, at the end of that path, we ended up in front of a lake, still covered by morning fog, greeted by an amber lit sky and a sun that is yet to fully rise. We sat on a bench overlooking the lake, and stayed there for a while.
In that dream, I can only hear Kiki humming a familiar song, yet I can't seem to name what it was. She stopped humming, and she gave me this somber look. But as I finally have the words to speak out of my mouth, she gave me a really warm hug, slowly she guides my head to her lap so I can use it as a pillow. Kiki felt very warm cozy, she brushed my hair slowly and hummed that song again. With each passing second I found myself falling asleep, She noticed this and stopped humming.
"Everything is going to be okay" she whispered. "I love you Champyon, I love you very much" followed by a warm kiss to the cheek.
I woke up from my dream after that, and found myself answering back "I love you too, Kiki"
And I was happy.
