Strange part of this iteration of YMW is that it's mostly hololive for the VTuber section, when there was a hololive block and Nijisanji block in the one back in July. Did Anycolor just not care to send anyone else besides Ryushen?

Last Youtube Music Weekend played a big part in me getting into Nijisanji at least from a music perspective and at the risk of getting yelled at, I'm sad they aren't taking part in this upcoming one at all.

Them and Hololive both had had a compilation of their big live concerts, both of which seem to have been privated by now. The only two videos that are still up are Deron's and Mito's.

I wasn't big into Mito back then, but I've warmed up to her. Deron on the other hand I really liked immediately. The compilation was all songs from Smash the Paint. There isn't a bad song on that album. It also convinced me that Joe is actually great, whereas I kinda hated him from afar based on his design before I knew how good he was at singing.

Also slight correction, at least Ryushen is taking part, but she didn't appear on the playlist yesterday when Youtube recommended me the announcement. I guess they are still building the guest list.

They could've easily done a highlight reel of Light Up Tones or any of the other live events they've done in the past few months, and they opted not to. Impossible to guess why, but Ryushen karaoke is always welcome anyway.

Also, I just noticed that if everyone is given 30 minutes there are still two slots open after Claire and before the smaller indies. Hopefully they'll get some more Nijisanji representation in there, bewcause otherwise having Ryushen there all on their own looks kinda weird.

Mion is the most underrated singer in holo. Her range is amazing, her singing is clear and she's the only holo who was able to pull off something like Konayuki (which ranges from very low to very high), a song that even hard hitters like Towa (completely failed) and Watame (was reduced to singing it as an "opera" after failing).
Wolf hag is easily one of the best singing chuubas, despite being a part of Gamers.

I noticed that a couple of non-vtuber performances (like Touyama Nao and a certain DUSTCELL duo) had taken their videos down as well. It's a pity, since the sanbaka performance was really fun too...

Googled the lowest and highest notes for this song. Its highest is A4 which most women can hit no problem. Its lowest is B2 though which is really low and inaccessible to many. I don't have any examples at hand but I'm sure Mio can hit notes above A4 so her range is sure impressive.
