Petra is just a different shade of that, instead of cute its hot. But I guess that's how it goes, I mean not like the girls are gonna write essays analyzing why they like the stuff they like.
tl;dr: It is easy to be like Petora while realizing why she comes across as silly. I imagine a lot of hardcore otaku think the same thing of others (meaning, that everyone but them has shit taste).
