If those subs are not bot they will resubscribe. This kind of thing is to prevent sub-botting. It sucks that it will slow down the growth of the girls, but this kind of system is necessary.

Imagine being the end user and having to re-subscribe to everyone you want to watch to continue getting notifications. It's a chore and defeats the purpose of saying you want to subscribe in the first place.
Just have the number presented on the channel reflect the people who've watched within the last 30 days and are subscribed. That is a beautiful compromise to what you've suggested that doesn't make it a chore for the end user.

They don't get unsubbed they just are hidden. They still function like normal viewers, so they show up in the CCV and VODs just not the sub total. The person themselves has no way of knowing whether they are hidden or not.

When you lose 2.5 times that number and actually do real game streams and not waiting as much as you can until you get monetization, then you can complain about subs disappearing. Seems like the sub issue has disappeared relatively quickly. Havent' seen a big sub nuke in 2 days so I guess they're fine.

Wrong. They are marked as bots or spam and just hidden from the count without being physically unsubbed. This is the "feature" that also affected the viewer count last December. People are marked as spam and aren't counted toward the view counter. Same applies to the subs
