>>13918280Good voices/personalities/designs, but the big difference is there isn't a bunch of yab baggage weighing things down immediately like what happened to Gen 5. So think about it, this is the first clean, fresh HoloJP gen since 4 - which debuted almost two fucking years ago. A LOT changed in two years, both in the landscape of Holo's prominence and vtubers in general both abroad and in Japan.
Basically a bunch of overdue hype is simply catching up. Even if Gen 5 didn't get its momentum fucked by Aloe (and then also sapped by Myth and then Coco yab as distractions etc), we've still had over a year pass between 5-6, way way longer than it had ever taken them before to roll out a new JP gen. So a lot of anticipation was pent up and here it is.
