Emotionally and financially supporting a female vtuber is exactly like the latter, which is why most at least try to hide it for the sake of politeness and keeping up appearances. Unless they're genuinely authentic and not playing a character (Kagura Mea) or it's all tongue in cheek (Tamaki), any serious vtuber is definitely gonna get shit on for sexual indescretions that involve violating their sworn oath to an almighty imaginary friend in the sky that they presumably took.
So while I don't agree that she should neck herself, I do think bs becoming a vtuber is kind of an insult to the art (like ethots are to streaming) and don't wish her any measure of success. I think she should just quit and find something else to do...like becoming a traditional ethot. They're not respectable at all, so there's no expectation that she'll have been an honest woman beforehand.
