I'm pretty sure they changed her contract at this point to not include a base salary. The most logic thing to do here is to have her as a voice actor. You don't "fire" a voice actor, you ask them to come when you need them to.
Look at Coco, they can't use her anymore for Holo Alternative or future projects. Maybe they'll hire her as a freelance for a few lines, but that'll cost more.
