that said while lamy is undeniably good at what she does (not yukimin btw) there is a legitimate chance that she could fall into irrelevancy. The vtuber thing is still new and in constant unpredictable flux, lamy isn't exactly doing anything unique and given enough debuts from people who scratch the same itch but better could absolutely realise her fear.
I don't think she is crying about gen6 leeching fans off of her, I think she is worried because she sees all these new debutants both within and outside of hololive making her realise how little she has in terms of skills and creativity to draw people in without the *hololive* tag.
