During the pre-/who/ threads era, many hoomans fell for Mumei due to the theme of Civilization, her cuteness, the character design (most of the details that is entailed by the lore - such as the hieroglyphs on the cape, who is 'Friend') and when the first streams happened, the acting ('bird noises' or the comedic timing for some sequences) and then the early scuff (Animal, the smaller streams, the mic malfunctions).
