they've since stopped being recommended to be, i never put 2 and 2 together. i haven't seen anything about snakes or abused anime girls though

How does this even happen? Some streamer says or watches something, be it on Twitch or YouTube, and then you start getting recommended that thing. You could have the stream running muted in the background and it'll still pick it up. Shit's fucked.

I told youtube to stop recommending me a load of channels that had various unpleasant animal videos not long after I got into vtubers, don't know what it is about vtubers that makes youtube thinks I want to watch that shit.
