>>14330662As far as I remember, most were skeptical at first. I thought the same way then, that EN will be cringey anime dub level. Then after debuts people actually liked at least some of them, their popularity grew rapidly, tons of tourists started visiting /jp/, /vt/ was created etc.
In retrospective I'm glad that I didn't reject them completely, but I mostly returned to JPs now. Watch IRyS and Ina occasionally, still membered to Ame but stopped enjoying her content long ago, watch Fauna once in a blue moon, that's it. I'm really enjoying Gen 6 so far, Laplus monetization stream was more emotional to me than everything Council did since coming into existence. Wish the EN branch all the best but I'm really not getting my hopes up.
>>14331577Lamy is my oshi, I understand that her appeal seems boring to many so I'm fine with her subpar views and subs. But I felt like she's inclined just a bit recently, doing above 10k quite often. Maybe it's just an overall buff because of holoX streams.
>>14331963Lamy is more of a dork now but she used to be extremely polite when she debuted. She kept apologizing for messing things up and genuinely trying her hardest. In my opinion it's a combination of saviourfag factor (not as in financial sense, but as in "This girl is bad at games and singing, but she is really really cute, loves her senpais and cares about her viewers a lot, I should support her") + yamato nadeshiko (she has a fuckton of traditional skills like tea ceremony or ikebana, she's very girly, grew up in kinda sheltered environment, was very meek at first) + wife experience (her morning streams were a novelty, even though they still were a bit late because at 9 am many people are already at work. But she still stated that her main goal is to provide healing experience to people tired from their daily life obligations). So she really didn't do much at first, didn't specifically bait gachikois, just started her monetization stream and got showered in SCs nonstop.

>>14335700Yeah variety is good. There is plenty of variety to have with JP only songs though. Holos song selection is just a bit stale, they could learn from some 2views. For example, Shirane Yuki from React does utawaku very often and they are all kino because she picks a lot of obscure vocaloid songs, isn't even always able to pull them off but variety of her tastes is amazing.
>>14336590Daisenpai... Why... I'd watch your utawaku any time but why now...
>>14336638Last time I checked it felt like her powerlevel dropped significantly, assumed it was because of her ear disease, but maybe I just picked a bad time.
