very first gen and graduated pretty much immediately after her debut so no one really cared at the time and now it's long history.

from what i heard, she told a guy she'd fuck him if he'd buy her vtubing equipment so she could audition for hololive, she got into hololive but didn't follow through on her end of the bargin so the guy posted all of it online, and hololive was brand new and 100% we're going to be just like an idol agency so of course she immediately got the boot for that one.

You have to understand that this happened ages before the huge vtuber boom and back when hololive barely had any viewers. People weren't lining up to join and everyone was doing it part time. One of the requirements for joining was owning the equipment needed to stream. So her agreeing to fuck that dude for equipment gave her a HUGE advantage during the interview process.
Also the guy she fucked wasn't management. It was some rando who fancied himself a "vtuber producer". Unfortunately for her the guy was also an insane schizo and when she refused to fuck him like she agreed to in exchange for the equipment he not only started to drag her name into the mud but also hololive's. At this point she was just a giant liability and they decided to fire her. She's as much at fault for what happened as the schizo she agreed to fuck .

The part that strikes me odd is how Cover also cut ties with the artist as well. Gives the impression there was some sketchy friend-of-a-friend business to refer the fake producer to her.

The publicized version is that she enticed the guy but then "defrauded" the not-producer of sex yet he's bragged since then about having 'conquered' multiple tubers this way so who the fuck knows. I mean this is the place where only a couple years ago rape victims had to prove they resisted with lethal force or else they were deemed to have consented.

Kizuna and Kaguya were still producing heavily edited and scripted content at the time. Hololive was operating a different format and barely had viewers at the time. I was saying that nobody was lining up to join the company so it was a given that she'd get the job just by virtue of owning a gaming pc and streaming equipment.
