However there's no PvP, or any sort of multiplayer period, so you don't NEED the most meta characters, and all content has been cleared using only free characters so you don't even need the gacha at all.
If you 100% need a character for waifu purposes there's a special paid banner every ~4 months that lets you pick whoever you want as your 5*There's also a SHIT ton of dialogue so if you don't care about a certain quest but still want the rewards you'll have to mash through it.
Endgame the gameplay loop is kind of grindy, outside of fighting superbosses, since you'll be repeating the same handfull of dungeons over and over.
